Knitted art.. Pink cozies, for what?! October 20, 2007

Just browsing the web and thought I would share what I found.. Some really cool Knitted artwork.

TankThis piece is piece is the work of Danish artist Marianne Jørgensen. It was created after she requested that knitters from all over the world send her knitted pink squares. She then filmed the process of stitching these squares together over the top of a WW1 tank as an artistic criticism of the Danes involvement in Iraq.

Apparently, everything that can be knitted will be. Currently on display at the

Georgia Museum of Art, this motorcycle and several other manly items were knitted by artist Theresa Honeywell.
I am still on the search for pink cozies for odd things… let me know if you find any.
