Special Class October 26, 2006

Filed under: Uncategorized — loopyyarns @ 12:32 pm

Last night Lisa and Vicki went to the house of a new customer who wanted to learn to knit and is part of the South Loop Moms-N-Tots Group. She recruited 5 other members to join her and we had a great time teaching them to knit.

Not all of them were new to knitting, two had been in our store and bought yarn to get back into knitting. We were able to get them going and taught them new tricks to speed up and perfect their knitting.

We have a follow up class in a 3 weeks.

Don’t forget this fun way to get together with friends for a fun evening.

Fleece Artist and Marsha Polk

We are sorry to say that our Fleece Artist Trunk Show, originally scheduled for October 20th had to be postponed. Despite our best efforts, our order didn’t get completed in time. We expect to have it sometime in November. Keep watching this space for updates.

We have also had to cancel our classes with Marsha Polk. There didn’t appear to be much interest in having this national teacher come in. We may try again in February, so PLEASE LET US KNOW if you are interested in taking classes from Marsha.
