Since the Sock Spectacular classes on Saturday are FULL, we decided to have a sale on some of our favorite sock yarns. We have recently received Kaffe Fassett’s new sock yarns from Regia and are including them in the sale! Come and check it out! The sale will start today and go through next weekend.

Don’t fight the crowds at the stores! Instead, spend relaxing time at Loopy Yarns with designer Lynne Wardrop learning the basics for knitting perfect holiday slipper socks.
Classes on Saturday November 24th
10:30 am to 1:00 pm – Learn to knit socks from the toe up using the Turkish cast on
3:00 pm to 5:30 pm – Short row heel – never pick up gusset stitches again!
Take one of these classes for $30 or spend the day with Loopy and Lynne, for just $50 – you may be able to finish a pair if you are a fast knitter.
Choose one of Lynne’s 6 super sock patterns (containing lace and/or cables). For yarn, we recommend using one of the incredible colors from Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted. Lynne designed her patterns to for this yarn however, Loopy has lots of great worsted weight yarn and all you need is 225 yards! You’ll also need either 2 pairs of size 4 24” circular needles or one 40” circular needle. Addi Lace Needles are strongly recommended.
No materials are included in the cost of the class. Yarn must be purchased at Loopy Yarns and, as always, students receive 20% off all purchases made for the class. If necessary, please have all yarn wound prior to the start of the class so everyone can start knitting as soon as the class starts.
