If you ask anyone who has been in the store this past week, I’m sure they’ll tell you what we have found out – the Fleece Artist was worth the wait. It is beautiful and flying off the shelves. The only problem for me is that the sock yarn hasn’t arrived yet and will still be a couple of weeks ;-(
The sale yarn is moving out, too. The quicker we move that out, the quicker we can get Brown Sheep (Lamb’s Pride)! We must make room for all their beautiful colors.
A repeat of last year’s hugely successful Stitch-n-Bitch the first Tuesday of every month starts tonight! It’s in Puck’s Cafe but the whole museum is open to view.
Woo Who! We just received flower kits and cat toy kits from KnitWhits (www.knitwhits.com). These kits are great to make for co-workers or to give to knitters.
We are also unpacking new yarns from Knit One Crochet Too and Nashua. Come and check them out.
And now . . . the piece de la resistance . . . Fleece Artist has started coming in!!! It appears as though we are receiving a box a day. Curly Locks, DreadLocks, Kid Silk, Bluefaced Leicester, and Big Baby Alpaca have come in so far.
We are a little leary about setting up another trunk show for Fleece Artist but we’ll have a treats for our guests on Friday night.
